Which image formats can I split?
Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images up to 25 MB. PNG is the best choice when you need transparent output.
Does my image get uploaded?
No. Your selected image is decoded, split, previewed, and exported in your browser. It is not sent to our servers.
What if the image dimensions do not divide evenly?
Any extra edge pixels are distributed across neighboring tiles, so there are no gaps or overlaps when the pieces are put back together.
Can I split an Instagram carousel?
Yes. Choose Carousel to make a horizontal row of up to 10 panels, then set the number of slides you want.
What happens when I choose JPG?
JPG does not support transparency. Transparent parts of a PNG are filled with white in JPG output.
